Supporting specific media players

By default, MediaCD 2.0 supports Windows Media Player, QuickTime Player, and RealPlayer. If you do not want to support formats of one or two of the players, you can greatly improve program performance by unchecking the check boxes corresponding to the players you do not want to support.

If you mark all three media players as unsupported, Windows Media Player will be supported.

While MediaCD 1.1 always embedded Windows Media Player 6.x, MediaCD 2.0 will automatically check for and use Windows Media Player 7 if it is available. If not, version 6.x will be used. If you want version 6.x to be used in all cases, uncheck the check box labeled Use Windows Media Player 7, if available.
